Hi I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairstylist, and I'm going to show you how to achieve volume in the crown with long hair. What we're going to do is we're going to section off her hair doing a Mohawk section through the top of the head. If you can see that, just right over the one eye and then directly over the other. A tail comb is a great way to section off hair. As you can see, one swipe here and one over here, we have the section we need. Make sure that when you do do the section, sorry JoAnn, when we do do the section, you're going to want to drop that down into the crown area so we really can focus on getting our root lift. Now that we have this section we need, I'm just going to clip it away, so I can actually focus on the hair we're not going to use and get that out of the way so it doesn't create any friction or problems in the process. Now let's talk about product, today we're going to use Body Boost Root Booster by Garnier Fructis. This is a great product that's going to really help us get the look we need. We're also going to be using the Garnier Fructis Volumizing Hairspray. I'm taking inch by inch horizontal sections coming it cleanly up and applying the root booster directly at the root. Next we're going to just move in and blow dry right at the base. As you can see I'm not using any nozzle, nor am I using a brush. I'm literally just allowing the airflow of the dryer to move through the base of the section creating the root lift that we need. After you're done with a section, just twist it up and lay it just gently off to the side of you face, a little uncomfortable at first but well worth the result. After we've done the volumizing root booster, we're going to go in with our hairspray. Now this is when we pull all the hair back and what you do is you just lift up each of those sections that we previously sprayed and just give it a little mist right at the base and then just lightly let the hair lay back. As you spray the hair, you'll notice that it lays back and slowly builds the shape giving us the root lift that we desire. This also is giving the hair just a little bit more texture, it's roughing up that cuticle slightly, giving us that voluminous look. I don't know if you see what's happening here but I do. This is volume people. Do you see the root lift we're getting in each section? Now you're just going to want to take out the clips that was holding the existing hair back, with a wide tooth comb, I'm just going to brush through the product slightly and gently letting the hair fall into place. As you can see, we've parted it over to the side and pulled the hair around and wallah, we have volume in the crown. I'm Caile Noble. Thank you for watching.
