- Hi, my name is Taylor Babaian. I'm a celebrity makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you what color eye liner to use for your eye color. So when you're choosing eyeliners for your eye color, one thing I really like to do is really look at the iris color. So if you have blue eyes, use something that actually intensifies that. So navy would be great for blue eyes. If you have green eyes, a dark green really helps, as well as a little bit of gold to really bring out the green. If you have brown eyes, sometimes a little bit of violet, or something with a purple undertone, really helps to pop those brown eyes. So on Taylor today, I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Illuminator Eyeliner in Black Sapphire, as well as the Hip Chrome eyeliner in the sliver lightning. So Taylor has these beautiful, really light blue eyes. And we're just going to pop them even more by using a little bit of silver. I'm going to kind of just wrap it around the entire eye. Look up for me. By wrapping it around the eye, you can see that it really pulls out the lightness of her eyes. Then I'm going to blend it a little bit. Look up for me please. Just to smudge that out and see a little bit of that color come really through. And of course if you want to see more silver, you can actually bring it up a little bit higher. Now I'm going to add a little bit of the blue sapphire. And what this does is it really helps to contrast the lightness of the eye. Now we have the dark sapphire that's really going to pop against the light blue. It really makes her eyes look even more intense. Just going to angle it up a little bit. Look down. I just always love to angle the dark color a little bit at the ends, just to add a little bit of hip. Then we use the lighter side of the eye illuminator. I'm going to rub it on my hand so that it's not too sharp. And chin down and look up for me. This really kind of open up that eye. Just use it on the water line, just to open that up. So we've finished our blue and silver liner look on Taylor, and as you can see, it really intensifies the light blueness of her eyes. The silver really helps to bring that lightness, and then the contrast of the dark blue really helps to intensify it even further. We finished it off with a little bit of mascara on the top and bottom lash to just finish and create that beautiful look. So there you have it. That's how you choose eyeliner for your eye color.
