- Hi my name is Taylor Babian. I'm a celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to show you makeup looks for brown eyes and olive skin. So for those of you out there with brown eyes and olive skin, it's really easy to get into a rut of just wearing boring boring brown, brown constant. It's safe but I'm going to show you how to add a little something extra to make it a little bit more lively. So to get this fun look I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Metallic Eye Shadow Duos from the Hip Line. So whenever you're doing kind of boring brown shadows, to liven it up a little bit I like to use a little bit of gold or bronze at the base of the eye. It's kind of a way to go and do a little bit something different but it's still safe. It's not going to be so far out of your comfort zone. It's just going to look a little bit sparkly. It's going to make the eyes look a little lighter and brighter and allow you to have a little bit more fun. So I'm just doing a lovely quick wash of this gold at the base of the eye, open, look up and to make the eyes look a little bit brighter I'm going to add it all the way around, wrap this light color around. So as you can see, it really brightens the eye just by adding that little extra bit of gold, close your eye. Now we're just going to add a little bit of a contour color just to the outer corners of the eyes. This is actually a look that's pretty wearable for day as well as evening. I'm creating a little bit of a softer look so I'm going to blend it out a little bit more so it's not too dark for an evening look you can actually extend it a little farther out and have a little bit more fun with it, darken it a little bit and that's going to give you a real evening look, open, close. Of course in my crease I'm using a smaller brush. Whenever you're working with smaller surface areas you definitely want to use proper brushes, open, nice and pretty, look up for me. And then we're just going to mirror that top area. So we finished off with two coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes and it looks fantastic. We've also paired it with a little bit of a pink cheek as well as a peach mouth and it just gives it a nice finish. So this is a great way to kind of bump up your boring browns to the next level by adding just a little bit of gold with some dark browns. You can also use bronzes as well as some deep greens, some deep mosses would be beautiful as well. That's how you choose eye shadows for brown eyes and olive skin. My name is Taylor Babian. Thanks for watching.
