Hi, my name's Hilda Levierge and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you what eyeshadow colors enhance blue eyes. If you have blue eyes, you're in luck, because pretty much any color is going to make them pop and look really great. The only color that I tend to stay away from, if you have blue eyes, is blue eyeshadow. You never want to match your eye color to your eyeshadow. I'm going to be using Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush in Purple Icon. So, first I'm going to start with a medium purple shade, here in the palette. And I'm just going to put that all over the entire lid. So, we're going to start from the root of the eyelashes, all the way up, to just under the brow bone. So, this is just going to be a nice base over the entire lid, and it's got a really beautiful pop of purple color, here. And then, what you're going to want to do, is contour with the darkest purple shade. So, I'm going to contour t just on the outer corner of Elana's eye, just in the crease with that dark purple. Just to give her a little bit of definition, and bring out the shape of her eyes. I'm just going to bring it down, almost like a little V, in the outer corner of the eye. And then, you can take your lightest color in your palette, and use that as a highlight. So, we put the highlight just under the eyebrow, just to bring out that beautiful brow bone, and you really show off your bone structure. And then, to waken up the eyes, give them a little bit of a pop, I like put that light highlighter, right in the tear duct. It's really going to mask any darkness, a lot of times people get dark right in that inner corner there. So, that's going to be really nice to give a nice highlight. And then, I'm going to finish by going back to the darkest color and using that as an eyeliner. Now, you can also use a black or a gray eyeliner with this look. But I'm going for a little bit softer look, so I'm just going to use a shadow. So, by lining the eyes as close as possible to the lashes, you're actually going to create an illusion of longer, thicker eyelashes. And it's going to just give your eyes a little bit more definition, which is really going to help to make that beautiful eye color pop. And just look up with your eyes. I'm going to take that same dark purple, and I'm going to wiggle the brush, as close as possible to the lash line of the lower lashes. And create a nice, soft line there. So, I've finished lining the bottom of the eye,and I'm just going to put a little bit of, just open and look down, I'm just going to put a couple stokes of mascara on. Okay, so, you can really notice the difference between the eye that's made up with the purple and then, the bare eye. And I really feel like the purple really brings out the violet in blue eyes, if you have, if you have green, greenish-blue eyes. It's really going to pick up on that hue and really enhance it and bring it out. And I just love purple for blue eyes, I really think it's just very flattering. People that have blue eyes, often have fair skin. So, you don't want any little veins or discoloration to compete with the light shade that you're using, like a purple or a pink. So, you just want to be mindful to cover up the lid first, with a little bit of concealer or foundation, just to even out that skin tone on the lid. And then, go ahead and apply your beautiful pink, or purple shade. Okay, so, I've just finished both eyes. And I think, it looks really great, it's just a soft, youthful look, nothing too harsh, just a little bit of definition with purple. And it's really, if you can see, it just really, just open your eyes, the blue really looks more violet and really deep and vibrant. So, I think, it looks great. so, there you go, this is the great eyeshadow that goes best with blue eyes. Thanks for watching, I'm Hilda Levierge.
