- Hi, I'm skin care expert Tracy O'Connor, and today I'm going to share with you how to exfoliate your skin without using an exfoliating cream. So if you're looking for a product to exfoliate, but you don't want to use a cream, maybe you're oily or acne-prone, look no further than a serum. Serums are designed to deeply penetrate into the skin cells, and they're very lightweight, readily absorbed, they have powerful ingredients, and if you want to exfoliate, look for a serum that has restorative and regenerating ingredients. Now our model Eden has gorgeous skin, but what's great about a serum is whatever your skin care concern, or if you just want to maintain a really healthy complexion, like Eden has, a serum is perfect to incorporate into your daily regimen. So we're going to use the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's. Because of the active ingredients, the bottle is opaque. And when looking for a serum, it's not a bad idea to look for a bottle that is opaque, because that way you preserve the ingredients. And just press into Eden's skin. We're going to apply on four parts of the face, the forehead, the cheeks, the nose and the chin. And this serum has lavender oil, which is very restorative. It helps to calm inflammation, reduce redness, has aromatherapeutic benefits, so it's the perfect serum to apply during the nighttime when you want to get a good night's rest. It also has evening primrose, which is regenerative and restorative, helps to promote healthy cellular function, so it moves those healthy younger cells forward to the surface of the skin. And finally, when choosing a serum, look for something that is naturally-derived. This concentrate is 99.8 percent naturally-derived, and because the ingredients are so powerful, it's great to find a serum that's simple, but yet gets the job done. And that's how to exfoliate your skin without using an exfoliating cream. I'm Tracy O'Connor, thanks for watching.
