- Hi, my name is Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner, and I'm going to show you an easy sexy way to wear your hair. So I styled Sarah's hair using a curling iron and just doing really big soft waves and this is a really pretty way to wear your hair. So I want to dress up her hair a little bit more and I'm going to do a side pony but a little bit more contemporary. Alright so let's get started. I'm just going to take Sarah's hair all the way over to her right side and just lightly brush through it. I don't want to pull too much of the texture out. I still want to keep some in there and just lightly pulling the hair right down to the far right side of the nape. Okay and I'm going to put an elastic right there where I'm holding it. So it's important to just kind of take note of where you're placing the ponytail. You don't want to do it too high because that looks kind of frivolous and fun and we're going for a little bit more sophistication here. And that's nice, just kind of right at the jawline. Once you've established the ponytail, I'm going to take a little piece of hair from underneath and we're going to do a nice wraparound and I'm going to use some hairspray to really shine it up and hold it in place. I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Full Control Anti-humidity Hairspray. Okay so taking the hair from the bottom I'm going to pull out a fairly large thick strand of hair because we really want to show off the wrap as well as the ponytail and I'm going to spray a little bit on my fingers. I'm just going to take that strand and I'm going to twist it and distribute the hairspray and it's really going to shine it up and get rid of any little flyaways. Once you have the strand prepped you can go ahead and start to wrap it around the elastic and then we're going to secure that in place with a bobby pin. I'm going to go from underneath to really disguise the pin, I'm just going to catch that last strand moving forward towards the head and then I'm going to flip the bobby pin, take it right back down into the ponytail and just catch that little bit. And to finish the style off, I'm just going to catch some of the stray pieces, pin them in and you can wear the bangs a couple of different ways. I like to catch these pieces and pin them in. It makes it look a little more sleek but you could also let the pieces out and have a little bit more of a messy style and just finish out with some hairspray. You can see it looks really nice from the back. It looks very elegant from the side, from the profile and really clean and chic in front. There is an easy sexy way to wear your hair.
