Hi I'm Caile Noble, celebrity hairdresser and I'm going to give you easy directions how to French braid hair. Just grab a flat brush and brush through the hair. Once you comb it out, you're going to now grab some hairspray and get it in the hair for a little texture and grip while braiding. We're using a Garnier Fructis Full Control Hairspray, just on the tops there giving the hair a little texture and grip while braiding. Next you're going to want to go into your first section. What I like to do is take a diamond shape right through the front of the hairline just to get started. Now I'm going to use a tail comb just to really get a nice clean section and there you have the first section as you get started. Now when you have your hair broken into three sections you can begin your braid. Now, this is the part that gets tricky. When you establish your first section of the braid, you're going to now every time you go to take this section of hair to go back over, you're going to take an new horizontal section of the hair and in the beginning sometimes if it's a little easy, just grab the little tail comb and literally just take the section right up to where the braid is coming out and feed that hair into your previous piece of the braid. As you can see now, we're ready to overlap. This is a bit tricky to do on your own but this is obviously great advice when you want to practice on a friend. So now we're just basically at the nape of the neck and we're going to finish off braiding the hair, very simple process as you can see, I'm just over, under, over, under, going back in with our hairspray, I'm going to spray the pony a little bit and the ends, taking a little tight tooth comb and tease the bottom of the braid. Just to finish off the look you can go in with your hairspray and touch up any loose flyaways and those are easy instructions on how to French braid hair. I'm Caile Noble. Thank you for watching.
