- Hi, I'm Louis Santalices, celebrity hairstylist. Today I'm going to show you how to blow dry hair with a round brush. And to create this look, we're going to need a round brush, a blow dryer with a nozzle, and some products. And to start, I'm going to use some product. I'm going to apply some of the Springing Curls by L'Oreal right at the roots. About this much. I'm just going to rub it through it your hands, and you want to start at the roots. This is going to allow us to control the hair and give us maximum volume and frizz control. Just really work it in, massage it. It's okay to use a generous amount. And then you can pull through the ends whatever you have left, but mainly it's really important that we apply it at the roots. Okay, now that we've evenly distributed the product, I want to take the round brush and I want to start here at the front hairline and not blow dry it on the parting, but blow dry it together so that when the hair is dry, it will fall naturally. So our model today doesn't have super curly hair, but she does have texture. If you at home have very curly hair, it's important that you apply really strong tensions to really pull those roots nice and straight. I'm taking the hair and I'm over-directing it forward, but rolling the brush back away from your face. Continue to repeat this until the hair is completely dry. So it's really important to control frizz to have a nozzle on your blow dryer, so that way you can really control the heat and not moving the hair too much, because that can cause it to frizz. If you really want to set the hair and really polish the cuticle, its important if you have a cold setting on your blow dryer is just to hit that after your hair is dry. A lot of blow driers have a button right here and you just hit it with the cold. Okay, now that the hair is completely blown out, let's pay some attention to the ends. Especially with curly hair, it needs to be refined. Okay, so we have finished our blow dry. You can see that the hair is really nice and smooth, very chic, very polished. And that's how to blow dry curly hair with a round brush. I'm Louis Santalices and thank you for watching.
