Hi, I'm Stevi Christine, professional make-up artist, and today I'm going to teach you how to apply dramatic eyeshadow colors. So, when I think dramatic, I think a pop of color. And dramatic dresses up any basic outfit--anything simple. Let's take Chelsea for example. She's wearing a gorgeous simple black top. We're going to spice it up with a gorgeous matte yellow color that's just going to pop everything and add a little drama. Today on Chelsea, I'm going to be using L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Matte Eyeshadow in Striking. So, I started by applying a base all over her entire lid-just a neutral base. This helps adhere to any shadow that you're going to apply, especially since we're going to use a very bold, very dramatic color. Want something that grabs it and keeps the eyeshadow in place all day and all night? We're going to start with this gorgeous matte yellow. Pick that on the side of the brush, like this. So, what you want to do is start inner corner, and work out, and lightly work up. Don't go all the way into the crease area. You want to just stop right here, and place it on the entire eyelid. So, I really want to intensify this color. So, I'm going to go ahead and do another layer by placing the product on her eyelid. Bring it all the way out. There's two ways we can do this. We can just take this entire yellow, place it on the entire eye--which I'll show you. Pop a couple coats of mascara, and you'll have a nice gorgeous bright eye. But what I'm going to do for Chelsea is, actually going to take a little bit of this grayish-black. Take a little bit right in the outer corner. This helps elongate the eye and adds a light, little smoke, which is gorgeous, and it adds a nice intensity and a drastic look. Go back and take a little bit of the yellow. Place it right at the inner corners here. What you can also do is take a little of the dark, pop a little in the crease to add a little bit of dimension to the eye shape. And to finish this look, definitely want a couple coats of mascara, some jet black eyeliner. Run the inside of the eye. I also like to put the eyeliner inside here, as well. Definitely adds bit of drama to the eye area. When you do a dramatic eye, also remember, pop a little concealer under here. It'll add nice contour around the eye and adds to the popper color on top of the eye, as well. And there you have it. Theres some dramatic eyeshadow colors. I'm Stevi Christine, thanks for watching.
