- Hi I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to talk to you about different types of concealers. You can always use concealer as a really good tool if you don't want to wear a lot of foundation, if you don't want really heavy coverage and really spot treat some of the problem areas on your skin. If you have dark circles, if you have redness, if you have a few little blemishes you can really use concealer just to really blend that out and give yourself an even skin tone. On Emily today I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Concealer. Using this concealer I'm going to cover a little bit of the dark circles that she has. You can see she has a little bit of purples coming under her eye and I'm going to cover a little bit of the redness around her nose and a few of the little blemishes she has around her face. As you can see, Emily has very youthful skin so I don't want to pack on the concealer. I really want to be very light handed and blend it into her skin but if you have more mature skin, feel free to really build the product and get a little bit heavier coverage. So I'm going to use a small concealer brush with synthetic bristles and just take a little bit of the product and just get in right underneath her eyes in small circular motions and just diffuse that dark purple that's coming through underneath her eye. As you can see, this is really brightening up her eye and taking a lot of the purple pigmentation away from the under eye area and really brightening up her face and you can always use, remember you can always use your ring finger to really blend that color into the rest of the skin. Since we're not really applying a concealer all over the face you really don't want concentrated areas, that will just look really blotchy. So you just want to blend it out to the rest of her skin so everything can match and I'm just going to hit the redness right around her nose. This is a really trouble area for most people. Everyone usually tends to get red right around the nose area and sometimes right above the eyebrows. So now that I've finished getting rid of some of the dark circles under the eyes and really diffused the redness around her nose I'm going to go through and hit a few of her blemishes that you can see using the same technique. And there's just a few little blotchy blemishes that you just work the product and really blend it around because you don't want just a harsh spot right onto the skin. Again you can see there's just a few little trouble spots, just work the product right on and just blend it with your ring finger. This way you give your skin a nice even tone without using too much product. Concealer also works great on sun spots or sun damage or if you have really dark freckles that you want to cover and diffuse a little bit. Now Emily has freckles but I don't want to take all of them away. I really love that look on redheads. I actually think it's a really great feature on skin but there's a few dark ones just on the side that we're just going to blend in. So as you can see we've really taken the redness out of Emily's skin and really taken care of those dark circles under her eyes as well as her blemishes and some of her sun spots. So concealer can really be used as a very versatile tool to really perfect and polish the skin. And there you go, a few different ways to use concealer. I'm Jhizet Panosian and thanks for watching.
