- Hi everybody, I am makeup artist Riku Campo and today I'm going to show you how to use the right concealer. Here's my model Anna and I'm going to show you how to use the concealer on her face. So most of us, women and men, we have a problem, the darker under eyes, so it's going to be right in the corner of the eyes. You can also use it to cover the blemishes or the redness around the nose or any other areas on the skin. It is extremely important to choose the right color concealer. It should be always be yellow toned. Never too dark, never too light. Just actually to blend perfectly into your skin. I'm going to use on Anna's face L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer. Just a little bit in the corner of the eyes. This is actually where the darkest area is around the eyes. And I use a concealer brush. And remember, a little drop goes a long way. And then you can just blend it with your ring finger. Just in the corners here. And blend it, blend it all the way to the corner of the eyes. You don't want to put too much concealer around the eyes here because otherwise you will get the so called clown effect. So it means that you put too much product and it will kind of like show too much. And then another area you need concealer is around the nose. And I just use my finger, it's easy. Just here. And blend. Blending, blending, always blending. And if you have any blemishes just lightly touch the concealer on the blemishes and it will literally disappear. I like to use concealer on the top of the foundation so it kind of covers better. Because if you put it at first, the concealer in the blemish and then you put the foundation it kind of slides away. So you just want to put it on top of the foundation, tap and tap. And how to choose the perfect color tone concealer, so you want to make sure it's not too dark first of all, and it's not too light or not too white, not too pink. I would say the best colors are always the yellow toned. It kind of disappears on the skin perfectly. And if you don't find exactly the same color as your skin just take lightly lighter than your skin color. So that works as well. And voila, that's it. It looks like she's wearing no makeup.
