- Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, Professional Makeup Artist and today, I'm going to show you how to create a cat eye on an almond eye. I love doing a cat eye on an almond eye, all you need is a gel liner and a perfect angled brush. To begin with, I'm going to use the Dual-End Liner And Smudger Brush by Lancome. So, I'm going to begin with this gel liner and the thin tip of the brush so I can get the precision. So, I'm going to extend the liner along her lash line, almost to the end and then, the great tool on the end of this brush will help guide me to where the placement of that cat eye finishes. So, I'm pushing down just a little to get the placement of where that would be and then I pull down. So, I've got the angle in the brush that helps me. So, now that I've got my point, I'm going to draw in from there. That becomes the line that helps determine the rest of this cat eye. Now, I'm always going to want it to be thicker on the end and thinner in the center of her eye. So, I continue to draw only from the outer corner to the middle of her eyelid and keep that thickness on the outer edge. Then, I'm going to bring it to a little peak right at the edge. I'd like to also carry this down, attach, to give that little extra bit of drama. And because this is a waterproof eyeliner, once you've put it on, it's going to stay all day, it's sweat-proof, you can go out and dance, it doesn't matter, it's going to stay put. You can see how beautifully this accentuates Leah's almond eyes. She's got such beautiful eyes and they're a perfect eye shape to have some fun with the cat eye. So, that's how to create cat eyes on almond eyes. I'm Kendra Richards, thanks for watching.
