- Hi, I'm Jessica Liparoto, celebrity hair stylist, and today I'm going to show you how to create bridal hair styles. So on your special day, there's a lot of different hairstyles that you can choose from. Today on Emily, we're going to be doing a vintage bridal look. So, today to create our vintage look we're going to be using a fourth barrel curling iron, a brush, a comb, a few sectioning clips, small bobby pins, larger bobby pins and hairspray. We're going to be using L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Strong Hold hairspray. So to start off our look, we're going to use our comb to section off the hair. And because this is a vintage look, the front portion is going to be one of our most important parts to focus on. I usually try to section just behind the ear. Section her off this way, and then we're going to do the same on the other side. So now, we're going to start section off the back a little bit at a time. So I'm going to go ahead and brush this through. We're going to secure it, and then we're going to be starting curling. So, take your comb, section off a piece, run the comb through it, take a little bit of your hairspray, 'cause you want your hair to hold all day on that special day. Roots to ends pull it through. And now what I like to do is take the curling iron, take a little piece of hair, and I like to wrap it around the barrel, all the way, including the ends. And we're going to repeat the same step. So now that we've curled all the way through the back of the hair and on the side, we're coming to our most important part of our hairstyle. So what we're going to do is take very small sections in the front, just take your tail comb, make clean even parts, secure the hair back, and we're going to set this. And this is what's going to give you the nice vintage wave in the front. And now we're going to hold the curling iron and do an entirely different curl this go round. About midway, you're going to hold out, and slide down, and just keep twisting all the way around. Now we're going to slide off. You're going to take one of your sectioning clips, and you're going to clip it right in. So we're just going to keep repeating this process all the way to the top. And now that we've finished setting the hair all the way through the front, we're going to begin brushing out the back all the way to the front. So, take your brush, and you're going to be getting rid of a lot of your pretty curls that you just put in. You're going to pick up a section of hair, we're going to back-brush mid-shafts to ends. Now you're creating your "s" shape, and now we will begin to take out our set. Okay. Take your brush and just gently brush backwards. And here's where you can get really creative. Depending how much shape you like in the hair, how little, is completely entirely up to you. Okay. So we'll let that sit for a second, and then we'll focus on pulling this side of the hair back. Okay. Continue with the brushing out, back-comb, back-brush, alright. So then I'm just going to pick up her back hair here. We're going to take just this chunk of hair, and you can either twist back for a little more vintage effect, or just pull straight back and secure under there, depending on your preference. So after brushing out the back getting our "s" wave, moving around to the front to our perfect shape, and then to finalize our look, pulling one side back, securing it with the bobby pin, and this is how you get your vintage bridal look. Hi, I'm Jessica Liparoto, thank you for watching
