- Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, Professional Hairstylist and Salon Owner. And today, I'm going to talk to you about how to do a fun and crazy bun hairstyle. So, I'm going to take our model, Vanessa's hair and put it up in some little bun twist knots and we're going to do that all over the head, the tops, the sides and the back. So, to get this look at home, you'll need some bobby pins and a back-combing comb and a hairspray. So, today, I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis Full Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray. Okay. So, let's get started. I'm just going to prep Vanessa's hair with a little bit of spray. Real quickly, I'm just going to take the front section and then over-direct the hair. And then, I'm just going to twist it just a little bit and spin it right into a little bun and wrap around the bun, just holding that bun in place and wrap it around. Okay, when you get to the end, you're going to have some little pieces; I'm just going to leave these pieces out. Pin the hair right where you're holding it. Okay. Then move into the side; I'm taking that whole side section from the back of the ear to the top of the head. And pull that up and twist; twist it right into a little bun. I'm just kind of wrapping it around my finger. Okay, and just pin it where you hold it. Okay. I'm going to move over into the other side. Okay. So, you can see I've got the top and the sides placed and I'm really looking at the, the symmetry of the placement. You want it to be, even though it's sort of crazy and it looks as if it was just quickly thrown together, you still want to have some sense of balance to it. So, basically, I'm lifting each bun into that top corner of this section and really looking how it, how it highlights the face, how it highlights the cheek bones and the jaw, and the jawline. Okay. So, now, I'm going to show you the back and I'm going to continue lifting the hair; we're going to do a section here, a section here and a section here. There you can see the back. See we've pulled the buns and placed them up in that top corner and here you can see the finished hairstyle. And it still has a little symmetry and balance to it, but it's also crazy and fun. That's you do a fun and crazy style using buns, I'm Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
