Hi, I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you a contemporary way to do your eyeliner. So a modern approach to a traditional eyeliner would be to update the cat eye with a bold stroke of color. So today I'm going to use the Liner Design in dress up teal by Lancome. I love this color because it is so fun and it's going to have a beautiful sweep of color on her eye that's going to be a great statement. Okay, you can go ahead and close your eyes. I'm going to begin in the center of her eye and draw this along the base of the lash. So I'm running this color right up along her lash line and as I get to the outer edge, I'm going to use this great end of the brush to help show me where the angle is going to be for the cat eye. I'm going to lay it against her eye and just mark the spot where I'm going to end at and then I know that I want my peak to be right up in there. Now you can see already with just one stroke what a great bold look this is. You can continue it by thickening up that line a little bit or you can leave it the way it is. Let me take a peek, great. I'm going to go ahead and make it just a touch thicker for a little bit more drama. You know when you're going for a bold eyeliner look like this it's great to go with a gel liner so that the color doesn't smudge or run. Another thing about this is that it's so highly pigmented, so that that color really stays intense throughout the wear. There you go, this fun bold cat eye is one of my favorite looks. I love to do this in bold colors like purples and jewel tones and even metallics. And that's a great contemporary way to do your eyeliner. I'm Kendra Richards. Thanks for watching.
