- Hi, I'm Amy Hollier and I'm a celebrity makeup artist. Today I'm going to show you what kind of mascara looks great with brown eyes. My favorite kind of mascara to use on brown eyes is a rich black because it really gives the eye a glossy finish. The great thing about brown eyes is that they are neutral so you can also add in a colored mascara to give it a little pop. So to start you want to make sure that your lashes are clean and brushed. Then you're going to take a lash curler and give them a little curl. Now to use a lash curler you just have to look down and make sure it gets right onto your lashes, so look down for me. Get the lash curler into place and then give it a nice gentle pump. You can always go back and squeeze again. Look down, for a little extra curl. Now I'm going to go ahead and do her mascara. I'm using the Maybelline Lash Stiletto because it gives a beautiful glossy finish and you want to get the mascara right into the base of the lashes and then sweep it through. Let me see, beautiful. After you apply your mascara you can take a clean spoolie and just brush through to get out any clumps and really calm the lashes, perfect. And there you go, look at how gorgeous this black mascara is on her. It just really adds depth and drama to her beautiful brown eyes. I'm Amy Hollier and thanks for watching.
