Hi, I'm Jeffrey Paul, celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to show you what color makeup a blue eyed brunette should wear. With blue eyes you want to make them stand out. You want people to notice them. But with makeup things that make blue eyes stand out could be a dark mascara, could be beautiful eye shadows to frame your eyes, could be a cheek color that enlivens the eyes or it could be a lipstick, a lipstick best chosen would be one the second you put it on your skin looks brighter and your eyes pop. For a blue eyed brunette there's a lot of choices with lip color. How do you know where to start? Normally pinks and lighter skin tones can always look great on a brunette. You can see though with Kimber that the hair tone is warm, the skin is warm from the sun and it goes nice with the eyes. However it's going to contrast with the rest of the skin but if you do have fair skin and lighter color eyes this is a great choice especially since lip color is so in right now, bright fuchsias and pinks are really fun to wear. A second choice would be a coral. It's warm. There's a lot more yellow in it. There's a lot more orange tones. If you know anything about color or color theory, orange can really bring out blues. You can see it's nice with her hair color and her skin tone. It would be a nice vibrant choice if we wanted to choose this color. So for Kimber today, I'm going to choose a color that's somewhere in between those. It's a peachy pink color. It's Color Sensation by Maybelline. So you can see the color when I place it next to Kimber's eye it really enhances the eye color. It goes with the skin tone. It also goes with the hair. You can see that it's also a more saturated color than her lip color and this would be a great choice to wear anytime when you wanted a makeup staple, something to always have, always look good and always wear. The other colors are great, they're bold choices. They can work with any color of blue eyes, however, with a warmer skin tone and warmer hair, I want to have something that she can wear all the time. So the lip color, you can apply it directly or you can use a brush. You can see that as I apply the color to Kimber's lips it's bringing out the luminosity in her skin and really enhancing her eyes. That's one of my key tips for any kind of lip color. If it brings out the skin and eyes, it's a good choice. With the brush I'm bringing it all the way up to Cupid's Bow, down to the corner and really brushing it in to give a smooth application and again you can always apply the lipstick straight on. If you choose a lip liner, make sure you choose one that matches the lipstick and actually blends into the skin tone because you don't want to see the lip liner but yet you would like it to just maybe polish off a corner or accentuate an edge. Another great thing about a lip liner with a lipstick is applying it afterwards because it will go on smoother and lighter. With the lipstick I just keep applying to all the areas of the lips and spreading it out. You can see that the more I apply the brighter the color gets and it's still creamy and makes her lips look beautiful. Kimber has blue eyes with a tiny bit of yellow. You can see that the color on her lips really enhances that, it brings it out. It brings like a life in her cheeks. It looks as if she has blush on. Something you could wear with this if you wanted to polish off this look or have this be one of your staple looks is maybe a blush that warms up the cheek. You could use an eye shadow that's brown or bronze that would also compliment her eyes and still have the focus be on the lips and to finish the look you could use black mascara. Black would actually define her eyes, color her eyelashes and add more depth and dimension. There you go, that's a few ideas a blue eyed brunette should wear for makeup. I'm Jeffrey Paul. Thank you for watching.
