- Hi. My name is Taylor Babian. I'm a celebrity makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you what color lipsticks can make teeth look whiter. So whenever you're choosing lipstick colors to make your teeth look whiter, you want to stick with cool tones. Avoid any lip colors that actually have warm tones, meaning anything with red, brown, any sort of yellow undertones. That's going to actually connect with the teeth and make the teeth actually look more yellow. You'll want to stick with cool colors, which are more pinks, mauves, deep berries, and that's just going to really help to brighten the look of your teeth. So to get the look today, I'm going to be using a raspberry color from L'Oreal Paris Infallible lip color. So again, you want to choose colors that have a cool undertone. Choose colors that are raspberry, berry, mauve for a daytime look. So the great thing about the color that I'm using right now is it's a little bit bolder. It's richer, has like a nice raspberry tint to it. It's going to give her a polished, finished look, and make her teeth look much brighter, but at the same time just be a really simple look to just look nice and finished without much effort. When I apply, especially darker, lip colors, I want to start with a little bit lighter application, and then I'm going to go and add some extra. So the way that I actually like to apply lip color is get my little peaks up first--so we're going to get a nice little V at the top--and then kind of just connect the dots. So basically take it from the top peak, bring it down to the outer corner of the mouth, and then just add. Same thing on this side - take it from the top peak and connect to the corner of the mouth. Do a lighter application first. You can always add. Especially when you have darker lip colors, sometimes it can have a tendency to stain, so you definitely want to go for a little bit lighter. It's always going to be easier to add than to take away. So we finished our beautiful berry, and as you can see--smile for me--it makes her teeth look nice and bright and gives her a nice finished look. And that's one color lipstick that can make your teeth look whiter. My name is Taylor Babian. Thanks for watching.
