- Hi. My name is Taylor Babian. I'm a celebrity makeup artist. And today I'm going to what color eyeliner to use on blue eyes. So, when you're choosing eyeliner colors for blue eyes, I really love to consider the color of the iris. So, Erica has beautiful pale blue eyes. But what I want to kind of do is add depth to them. So, we're going to use a dark navy to add height and color. So, today for a color of eye pencil, I'm going to be using Hip eyeliner from L'Oreal, Paris. So, if I'm going to do a colored eyeliner, it's to really just add a thick line to the top of the lid. I'm just going to angle it at a slight 45 degree angle and then connect it with the lash line, kind of creating a small triangle. I'm working in short strokes from the outside in. So, you could see, it's a little bit darker, well actually quite a bit darker than her natural iris color. But it really does intensify the blue. I'm just going into the inner corner. Sometimes it's hard to get to the inner corners of the eyes when the eyes are closed. So, you can look down when you're applying the eyeliner. That really allows you to get in there in to the inner corner. So, we'll just start with a little product, create a thin line, and then you can go back over it and do a thick line and stop when you're comfortable, and of course going back and forth to check that both eyes are even. And now, we've finished both eyes. One last tip is, if you do make a mistake, with the wing at the ends with the colored liner, you can use a little concealer and a concealer brush and just angle it and clean up the ends of the eye.
