- Hi, I'm Spencer Barnes, celebrity makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you what colors of blush to wear if you have platinum blond hair. So here are three great colors that work well for a blond. All of them could work. This one also would look especially good on a brunette. This bright pink would be beautiful especially if she was a little tanner, if you wanted to use some bronzer with this it would be a great choice. I really am interested in this pail kind of icy lavender pink, very fun because she has great beautiful clear skin I think it would be a great choice. So today I'll be using the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush in orchid hush. I like using a foundation brush or you can also use a sponge or even your fingers for this. I find a brush gives you the most even smooth application. You can always check it on the back of your hand to make sure that you don't have too much product or to make sure you have enough product. Alright, let's go ahead and apply right on the apple of the cheek and if you smile in the mirror at home you can find just where to put it by where your cheek turns into a little round ball. That's where you want to start and then blend upward and backwards towards your hairline. This is a great color for her. Already you can see how this lavendery pink really complements the blue tones in her eyes and helps also pop her beautiful golden hair against her skin. When using a pink color like this, it's important to neutralize any redness in the skin first so that wherever you're putting this pink color you get a beautiful even application. What I love about this cool pink lavender shade on her pale skin is it really pops and complements her blue yes. This would be a great color for Winter or even in to the Spring. And there we have some cheek colors that look great with pale or platinum blond hair. I'm Spencer Barnes and thanks for watching.
