- Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist. And today, I'm going to show you how to mix primer with a tinted foundation. Using a primer could be a great tool to even out redness in the skin, to brighten up some of the dullness in your skin. And really bring a little bit of luminosity onto the face. On Kasey today, I'm going to use L'Oreal Paris Magic Lumi Primer, as well as L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation in sun beige. So, I already have some of the foundation on the back of my hand. And I'm going to pump a few drops of the primer. And I'm going to use a large foundation brush with synthetic bristles. And you wan to mix those two and marry those colors together, and load it up on your brush. And I'm going to start with the center of her forehead, and in small circular motions, buff out towards the outer rim of her face. And the great thing about using a primer with your foundation, is it has light reflecting properties. So, it just brings a very nice luminosity to the skin and brings a lot of light. When applying foundation, remember to get on to the eyelids as well. Because if you're going to wear any shadows, or any eyeliners, that's going to create a very good base. And you can fold your brush down and really get underneath there. And use your ring finger to blend out any little creases that you might have had. One final tip about foundation is, you want to make sure to also bring it down to the neck. And create a nice transition from your face, down to the rest of your body.
