- Celebrity hairstylist David Dang showing you tips on how you can keep your curly hair moisturized. So one easy way to keep those thirsty curls quenched is using your leave in spray. I'm going to use the EverCreme Nourishing Leave In Spray by L'Oreal Paris. Some of you are asking how to use leave in spray. Well I'm going to show you how. What you usually do is step by step, shampoo your hair, go ahead and come out of the shower, towel dry and then spray the leave in conditioner in and then from there just comb it. And as the towel says, leave in conditioner. You don't have to wash it out and that's the easiest way to nourish your hair. So what I usually do, is from mids to ends, I'll go ahead and spray in leave in conditioner. That's it, just three shots. Just usually do that all around the head. So as you spray it in, you know, you don't really necessarily have to just it at night or when you're coming out of the shower. You can definitely use it during the day. Leave in conditioner means you can use it twenty five eight. Any time you really really want to, right? So you can use it on dry hair, wet hair. Just to tame some frizz it's also a multi-versatile product where you can just use it to tame the frizz on top and how you do that is you just spray a little bit into your hands and then just spread it around the top crown area, any places that you have frizz. And as you can see it's already taming it down. This is the lightest form of a pomade that's conditioning for the hair. Again, the same thing at the ends. You can go ahead put a little bit into your hands and then put it the ends. You know this product is very light. It's very nourishing and it's very quenching to the curls especially those who have curly hair because it's, again, it's so wiry, it's so bouncy, it's so out of the place, sometimes it looses that, that lust and you want to put that lust back in by putting that leave in conditioner in. So remember, all you need to do is spray from mids to ends. Nothing too much on the scalp. So as you spray, go ahead and spray all around. Be generous because this is probably going to stay in your hair all day long. When you're jogging. When you're going against the sun. When you're fighting off that rain. It's taming your hair down. You can go ahead and distribute this with a comb or you can do it with your hands. Again this is on the run product. So as you're putting it through, you'll notice that it's just distributing it very well throughout the hair as you're combing it. That's why you want to use a comb or use your hands. And again like if you have frizzier ends, Bianca has frizzier ends a little bit right here, it's just from maybe due to like not being able to get your trim every four months or even just really really dry or it could be, you know, your color products are just drying you out or you're just really really lazy and not putting anything at the ends. You definitely want to just go ahead once again, putting into the hands. Basing it all over your hands and then just put it at the ends. It's really ultra light and ultra sheer too. So you're not going to be worried about, it's like a pomade feel. It's not. One of the misconceptions that everybody says is like you have to wash your hair every day to get those oils out. Again there's something called sebaceous glands on your scalp area and in your skin. It's overworking if you're washing your hair every day. Now if you're washing your hair every day, it doesn't have time to have those natural oils come down into your hair so what I recommend to a lot of my clients are to wash your hair every other day and sometimes girls even go to two to three days without washing their hair. That goes for guys too. You don't necessarily need to wash your hair every day. Once again, that's just releasing all those natural oils in your hair. Another tip would be, you know, not using an electric product on your hair too much such as a hair dryer or curling iron or even a diffuser. I know that a diffuser is very bear claw like and it distributes the heat evenly throughout the hair, but what you want to do is not use too much of that extra manpower, you know, because it's it's already working for you. That's what the leave in conditioner does. It works with you and not against you. And there you have it. That's how you maintain moisture in curly hair. This is David Dang, celebrity hair stylist. I'll catch you next time.
