- Hi I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist and today I'm going to show you how to do a smoky eye look with makeup. Since Emily has such beautiful porcelain skin and gorgeous red hair, I'm actually going to utilize the red hair and use it as an accessory and use really nice rich greens and golds to really contrast against your hair. On Emily today, I'm going to be using L'Oreal Paris hip eye shadow duo in a green shade. To start this look today I'm going to use a green eyeliner and line the top lash and go ahead and smudge it out. I'm going to start out at the center of her eye in small little strokes work outwards and this line doesn't have to be perfect, because you're going to come back around with this brush and really smudge it out. Now that I've lined her top and bottom lashes, I'm going to take the lighter green shade from the duo, get rid of the excess and place it right on the inner corners to the center of the lid. And you can just blend it right across to that side. Next I'm going to use the darker green shade and use a small, fluffy eye shadow brush with a tapered edge and use this to really get the outside corners to really work that smoky effect. And you can get right up into the crease with this brush so it's a perfect brush to use if you're trying to achieve the smoky look. I've completed Emily's look by applying two coats of black mascara on the top and bottom lashes. So again with Emily we used a really rich green emerald tone along with some golds to really contrast with her red hair and really brighten her face a little bit. And there you go.
