- Hi I'm Hilda Levierge. I'm a professional makeup artist and today I'm going to be teaching you how to apply Maybelline Eye Studio Sapphire Siren. So I'm going to be using the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Line and this compact is called Sapphire Siren and so what we're going to do is I'm going to start with a base, an all over base color. So I'm going to use this turquoisy blue right here. I'm just going to tap off a little excess and just close your eyes Kendall, and we're going to start right from the lash line here at the root. We're just going to cover the entire lid just up to the crease there. When you're wearing an intense color like blue it's really about blending to make it modern. So you just want to make sure that it's even, that it's gone on evenly and that it's all blended. What we're going to do with the brow bone is we're going to highlight it with this creamy shimmery color. So just right under there, right under the edge of the eyebrow because that's going to create a contour, it's going to help with our contour. Because then we're going to take this darker blue, that's such a pretty jewel tone color, the darker blue and we're going to go just tap it into the crease, just all along that crease right there. So that gives us a little bit of a contour to help bring out the shape of your eyes. I'm just going to blend that in a little bit and I'm just going to switch my brush. I'm going to go back to the light highlighter color and I'm going to tap that just right, just open your eyes Kendall and look up for me. I'm going to tap that just right in the tear duct there. So when you add a little bit of highlight right into the tear duct there, it really brightens up the eye. It creates an optical illusion of wider brighter eyes and then lastly what we're going to do is we're going to take this sparkly black and we're going to create a little V just in the corner here of the lash line and just up over the darker blue that we used, just in the corners and that will add a little bit more definition. And again just blending it with your fingers is a good way to make sure that it's even. Now we're going to be able to take either color, either the darker blue or this sparkly black and use that as a liner on the lower lashes. So I'll show you what both looks like, just look up for me. So this is the blue. So I'm going to put that on first, all the way along, just wiggle it in to the lower lash line and then I'm going to take the same angled brush and just wiggle the dark sparkly black into the outer corners. So basically the rule of thumb is you want to progressively get a little bit lighter the closer in to your tear ducts that you go. So I'm just going to put a little bit more black there and then we've got the darker blue and now, I'm going to take the lighter turquoise just for fun and put that in there and just kind of blend it so it all kind of seamlessly transitions, each color transitions into the next color. So there you have it, how to do a beautiful blue smoky eye with Maybelline Sapphire Siren. Thanks for watching. I'm Hilda Levierge.
