Hi, I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to apply makeup to cover up some of the dark spots on your face. To cover up some of Lindsey's dark spots, I'm going to use a concealer today. As you can see on Lindsey, she has a few freckles right around her nose, but we don't want to conceal the freckles. We just want to cover a few of the blemishes on her skin, just around the chin that are generally caused by sun damage. So you always want to make sure to wear an SPF and sunscreen to prevent future sun damage. On Lindsey today, I'll be using L'Oreal Paris Infallible concealer. To do this today, I'm going to use a small concealer brush with synthetic bristles, and I'm just going to load up some of the concealer on my brush, and you want to just hit the spot right on, and you can always use your ring finger to blend it a little bit. You want to make sure to blend out with your ring finger or a sponge, because you don't want harsh lines - especially with a concealer, because that will just look a little spotty around the face. And you always want to make sure to prep the skin with moisturizer and a primer, and even and light foundation. If your spots are a little more on the purple-y and blue-y side, you can use a concealer that has a little bit of a peachy undertone to really neutralize out some of the blues. To complete this look and really make the concealer last throughout the day, I'm just going to set it with a little bit of translucent powder to make sure that throughout the day, the concealer doesn't really move with the oils of your skin. And the powder is just going to help it set and last a little longer. And there you go. That's how to apply makeup to cover up some of the dark spots on your face. I'm Jhizet Panosian, and thanks for watching.
