Hi my name is Hilda Levierge and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today I'm going to be teaching you how to apply foundation to get a flawless look. So after you've applied your foundation it's really important to follow that up with a pressed powder or a loose powder. I like pressed powder, it really helps to matte away any shine. It helps to smooth out the texture and it also helps and works with the foundation to even out your skin tone. So for Liz today I'm going to be using Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder. So I'm just going to apply foundation to Liz. I'm using a foundation brush and then I'm just going to take my finger and just kind of blend it in, blend it up into the hairline and just down, just turn that way for a second. I'm just going to blend it down into the neck a little bit with the excess product just so that you get a really even coverage and it doesn't just stop. You always want to apply foundation before you put concealer on because you may not even need to use any cover up or concealer. Your foundation might cover any of the spots that you were wanting to with the concealer. So now that I've applied foundation to match Liz's skin tone, I'm going to set the foundation with a powder and I'm going to use a pressed powder. There's a couple different ways to apply it. I'm going to use the puff that comes in with the product so that's really convenient. So you're just going to kind of press it in to your skin. This is also called stippling. It's just pressing the product in to the skin. So you just want to matte away any shine that you might have and it's just going to, it has a little bit of color in it so it's also going to add to even out your skin tone and work with your foundation. Pressed powder is also going to keep your foundation on for a longer time. It's going to help to prevent it from melting. So most women will find that throughout the day you tend to get oily in the T zone so that's just the forehead and just right here in the cheeks. So usually in the morning, after you've done your foundation, you can do the entire face with pressed powder and then just keep it with you during the day and you'll probably find that you're just going to need to touch up right here, just under the eyes, by he nose, the forehead and the chin. And that's usually about it. So there you go, that's the easiest way to apply foundation and powder to get a flawless finish. Thanks for watching. I'm Hilda Levierge.
