Searching for a weave style that's less damaging for your hair? Stocking cap weaves, also known as quick weaves, are much more gentle than your typical bonded styles. Weaves are often attached directly to the hair or scalp, which can lead to stress breakage and other problems. Although you can sew this style of weave into your hair if you need your look to stay on longer, it also functions like a removable wig, so you can swap out several different hairstyles.

Shorter Styles

Stocking cap weaves can be the perfect style solution for ladies who love their long hair, but also want to test out some shorter looks. Maybe your hair takes too long to grow out or isn't thick enough to work for super-short styles. Whatever the reason, you've got plenty of cute coifs to choose from. Short styles with bangs will be the most flattering, as they hide the wig cap completely. Go for a cropped Halle Berry pixie cut or one of Rihanna's fringed asymmetrical 'dos.

Chin-Length Looks

If you'd like a look that's slightly longer than the crop cut, bob styles are flattering on a variety of faces and also hide the stocking cap well. Traditional bobs include blunt bangs and straight, chin-length locks cut evenly all the way around the head. Altered versions rock longer or side-swept bangs, looks that are shorter on one side than the other, layers and sharp angles. Some bobbed styles don't include bangs, but you'll want to keep a little fringe in your weave for blending.

Shoulder-Length Sass

Styling your real hair every day can be a pain. Sometimes, a girl just wants to alter her look without having to spend hours in front of the mirror. Shoulder-length styles with texture changes like curls, coils and waves can take a long time to create on your own hair, but a removable stocking cap weave can be ready to go right away. Go for a side-parted style with big, bouncy curls, or build up volume with an explosion of tight, trendy coils.

Longer Looks

Long hair can sometimes be difficult to come by naturally. Not everyone's hair is suited to a super-long look, either due to slow growth, poor strand quality or thinning volume. Instead, a girl can bring her dreams of long, feminine locks to life with a stocking cap weave. One chic style includes fashionable blunt bangs paired with very long, straight locks and no layers. Like a red carpet look instead? Go for layers and layers of waves and long, side-swept bangs.
