Pink is synonymous with being girly and delicate; however, you can be a fierce female and still rock the pretty shade. Pink clothes are fun to wear, but you should wear the right shade to complement your coloring. Plus, it's easy to go overboard. Wearing pink pants, shoes, socks, a shirt and purse can be a bit too much. However, if you know how to balance out the frilly shade, you can look hot and stylish.
1.
Wear the correct shade. Gals with dark hair and warm complexions often look stunning in hot pink. If you've got dark hair but your complexion is on the cooler side, go for a raspberry shade. Light blondes with fair complexions look hottest with the icy and pale pinks; whereas chicks with dark blonde hair and warm complexions look good in corals. If you're a redhead with a cool tone, go with a dusty pink or mauve; if your tone is warm, stick with salmon and coral colors.
2.
Pair your pink with a darker shade. For instance, black jeans with a pink top creates a cool contrast that leaves you looking chic, as does a pink shirt with a black blazer. A pink skirt and a brown top also makes a nice pair. Moderation is key when it comes to this flattering shade; bursts of pink here and there are what you should aim for.
3.
Accessorize with pink. Pink hats, purses and gloves are a cute way to brighten up your look. Even hot pink shoes with an LBD is both daring and delicious. Grab a pink clutch and you're good to go. Pink scarves and even pink jewelry can take your look to the next level.
