Fitted Skirt
If you're wearing a sexy, body conscious, fitted skirt, you're probably not a shy lady. That still doesn't necessarily mean that you want to show off all your assets, so take this look one of two ways. Either pair your fitted skirt with a fitted top -- use a belt to break the look up a bit -- or opt for a looser-fitting top to make your skirt look a little bit more conservative. Top off the look with a pair of fab heels.
Miniskirt
If you have great legs, show them off! Make sure to add a high-heel shoe that will give your legs even more length. If you want to make your legs look even better, opt for a shoe that's the same shade as your skin tone. It'll give the illusion of even longer legs and will totally slim out your bottom half. If your miniskirt is a tighter fit, wear a fitted or looser top. If it's a fuller, swingy mini, keep your top fitted to balance your look.
Embellished Skirt
Skirts come with all kinds of embellishments. So if you have a skirt that's sparkly, studded or beaded, let it be the star of the show. You don't want to overwhelm it with a bunch of other trappings. Keep your top simple. Try a monochromatic top or tank and keep your heels simple too. If you're dying to add another look-at-me piece, try a dangly earring or a chunky statement necklace.
Super Fancy Skirt
If you have a skirt in a fancier material like velvet or silk, you have options. Keep it dressy by pairing it with an equally fancy top and a pair of strappy sandals or make it more interesting and dress it down with a T-shirt and ballet flats. If it's a little chilly, slip on a pair of tights.
