Boots and jeans are staples in just about every woman's wardrobe. Not only are they super comfortable, they're versatile and can be worn countless way for different occasions. Cuffed jeans are perfect for boots that you want to show off. Boots that have lacing details, stiletto heels or decorative leather are the type of footwear that should not be covered up. Just be careful to pair the right style of jean with your sexy boots for the best look.

1.

Wear slim-fitting jeans. Wide-legged, flared and bell-bottom jeans won't stay rolled when you try to cuff them. Skinny jeans may be too tight to roll so opt for boot cut or straight-leg styles.

2.

Pull on your boots. Since the boots will be visible, make sure they're clean and in good condition. If necessary, give them a quick wipe down or polish. Depending on the occasion, opt for a boot with a slight heel. This will give your jeans a more feminine, polished look.

3.

Roll the hems of your jeans up two to three times. Keep the roll about 1 to 2 inches thick and make sure both legs are the same thickness. As you roll, smooth the edge to give the cuff a clean, sharp look.

4.

Avoid rolling your pants too high. The aim is to show a little boot. Don't roll the pants higher than the top of the boot.

5.

Check yourself out in a full-length mirror to make sure the cuffs are even. Stand with your legs straight and make sure the cuffs line up.
