Your black capris may very well be as dear to you as your BFF. They are always on stand-by, waiting for you to have a fashion crisis so they can fill the gap. Think about it. Last-minute date night with a new hot guy? Your black capris pair up with a sexy, flowy tunic for a fabulous after-hours look. Afternoon shopping with the girls? Your black capris -- along with a rocker tee -- save the day once again with effortless daytime style.

White T-Shirt/Jean Jacket

Some days, it pays to play it casual, which is just what you can do with this combo. Comfortable black capris, a plain white T-shirt and a cropped jean jacket are great for a day in the park or shopping with your best gal pals. Throw on a pair of colorful high-tops or easy canvas shoes, pull your hair back into a messy bun and match it all up with a pair of silver hoops and bangles, and you've got instant style.

Tube-Style Top

Add some sizzle to your outfit with a tube top matched with your simple capris. The bottoms are basic, which balances out the sexiness of the top. However, don't go with a belly-baring top here. Instead, opt for a tube top that falls to your hips in a bold color, like cherry red or lush orange. Finish up the look with chunky jewelry and a pair of ankle boots, for a decidedly retro flair.

Flowing Tunic

You just can't miss when you pair a tunic top with a pair of black capris. In fact, this is one of the only times when a printed tunic is the perfect choice because the black provides the perfect balance for it. Romanticize your look with a flowery tunic and simple kitten-heeled shoes or make it sexy with a sequined tunic top and platform heels for a more after-hours flavor.

Sleeveless Turtleneck

When you need a look stylish enough to wear to the office, even when the temps are soaring outside of your window, a pair of capris will do the trick. Take your sophisticated black bottoms and pair them up with a sleeveless turtleneck -- preferably in a bright, traffic-stopping hue like turquoise blue or lime green. Slide on your most colorful pair of peep-toe pumps, tie on a scarf and you've got the perfect warm-weather look with a professional edge.
