Flipped Out
1.
Shampoo and condition your hair as normal. For down hairstyles, you should always have fresh, clean hair for the most volume and body.
2.
Section hair into a top and bottom section, clipping the top section up out of the way, and blow dry along the bottom section with a round brush. Move the brush down the top of the hair, flipping it upward and in a backward motion toward the back of your head. Continue drying until the bottom section of hair is completely dry.
3.
Repeat this on the top section of hair, focusing on the sides to get the most defined flip around your face. Spray hairspray over your hair to give it more hold and help it stay in place.
Tucked Under
1.
Shampoo and condition your hair as normal. For down hairstyles, you should always have fresh, clean hair for the most volume and body.
2.
Section your hair into a top and bottom section, and clip the top section up on the top of your head to keep it out of the way. Blow dry the bottom section of your hair with a round brush, moving the brush along the underside of the hair, rolling it down and inward as you reach the ends. Continue drying until the bottom section of hair is completely dry.
3.
Repeat this on the top section of hair, focusing on the sides of the hair to get the most defined curves focused around your face. Add a healthy sheen to your hair with a shine spray or smoothing serum.
