Molasses is an ingredient you think of when you think of gingersnap cookies, not when it comes to conditioning your hair. Molasses is actually chock full of potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and copper, all of which are good for you and your hair. Putting straight molasses on your hair would be pretty messy, not to mention sticky, so you need to make a hair conditioner with molasses and a few other ingredients from your kitchen, grocery store or natural health food store.
