The Conair Nail Glitter and Gems is a kit that provides young girls with everything they need to create flashy and decorated nails at home. The kit also comes equipped with a vacuum-powered hose to help perfectly place nail gems and a glitter applicator to cover nails with sparkles without creating a mess on your table or floors. While the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems is intended for children's use, adults should supervise to ensure that the kit is used properly.
Prepare the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems Kit
1.
Twist the top of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems kit counterclockwise to remove it from the base of the unit.
2.
Remove all of the contents from the unit including the glitter, gems, hose, magic wand, plastic nails, adhesive, brush and wand.
3.
Unscrew the lid of the battery compartment, which is located on the underside of the top half of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit.
4.
Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment and reattach the lid.
5.
Place the top half of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit back on the base and turn it clockwise to secure it.
6.
Push one end of the included hose into the back of the magic wand.
7.
Insert the opposite end of the hose into the small hole located at the bottom of the top half of the unit.
8.
Press the release button at the top of the unit and remove the glitter dome. The release button is one of the petals on the flower at the top of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit.
9.
Pour approximately 1/4 of each included glitter bottle into three of the four chambers underneath the glitter dome.
10.
Place the glitter dome back onto the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit. The dome and unit both feature arrow markings to ensure that the lid is on correctly.
Decorate Your Nails
1.
Peel one of the nail-shaped pieces of adhesive from the paper backing and place it on your clean, dry nail. Choose a piece of adhesive the same size as your nail.
2.
Use scissors to remove one of the plastic nails free from the plastic ring. Choose a nail the same width as your natural fingernail for best results.
3.
Press the plastic nail firmly onto your adhesive-covered fingernail.
4.
Peel another piece of adhesive from the paper backing and place it on top of your plastic nail. This creates a sticky surface to attach nail gems or glitter.
5.
Press the on/off button at the top of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit. This button is the center of the flower at the top of the unit.
6.
Pick up the magic wand and place your finger over the hole in the side of the wand.
7.
Hold the wand over a nail gem and the wand will pick up the gem.
8.
Position the nail gem where you want it on your fingernail and uncover the hole in the wand. The gem will drop from the wand to your fingernail.
9.
Place your finger in the hole located near the top of the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems unit.
10.
Push the purple rim located around the hold forward to cover your fingernail with glitter. Remove your fingernail when it is coated with glitter, which should only take a few seconds.
11.
Repeat the previous 10 steps to decorate the rest of your fingernails with your Conair Nail Glitter and Gems kit.
Do not use old or rechargeable batteries as the Conair Nail Glitter and Gems may not function properly.
Conair advises against wearing the plastic nails for more than 12 hours.
Do not use the nail gems on children younger than five as the gems pose a choking hazard.
