Some days you just want to slip into your favorite comfy T-shirt. Wear the right shirt for your body type and
you'll be looking as radiant as you are relaxed. Finding a style that creates an attractive silhouette need not be mission impossible. It's all about balance and the perfect neck-line.
The pear-shaped lady is characterized by her curvy, sometimes wider bottom half and thin slender upper body. To balance your look, wear a funky T-shirt with exaggerated shoulders and sleeves to draw the eyes to your top half and minimize your hips. At the same time, a V-neck shirt can highlight and enlarge your bustline, creating balance by adding width to your upper body.
Hourglass shapes are considered to be perfectly proportioned, with your bust and hips roughly the same width and your waist defined and noticeably thinner. A variety of styles will accentuate your hourglass figure, but avoid tops that are so voluminous that they put your upper half off balance. Figure-hugging T-shirts will show off your slim waist, and round-necked styles are casual and allow the shape of your upper body to be the focus.
Apple-shaped girls are top-curvy and have lovely full busts, thin hips and legs. Wear a T-shirt that will create balance for your lower body and add definition to the waist. Go for T-shirts with wide rounded necklines to play down the bust. Choose tops that stop short of your hips to create a clear definition between your waist and hips.
For athletic body types, which are slender and angular, the best styles soften and highlight curves. A low-cut round-necked T-shirt will soften boxy shoulders and highlight your bust. Select one that cuts off at your hips, which will define your hips and create a more curvy silhouette.
