Your fashion scarf can be worn in ways that are conventional or incredibly creative. Regardless, the cool thing about the scarf is that is is so versatile, whether you're wearing it around your neck or in other more inventive ways. So have fun with your fashion scarf and show your style.
Draped
Make sure that your scarf is square shaped to get this look. You'll want to fold your scarf in half so it forms a triangle. Then you'll lay it on your chest so the apex of the triangle is pointing down. Then just fold the outer two ends around the back of your neck and you're all set.
Pulled Through
This look works best with a long rectangular-shaped scarf. Start by folding your scarf in half longways. If your scarf is really wide, you can fold it over a few times. Now you'll want to fold your scarf again, only this time you'll want to fold it so it creates a long U-shape. Drape the scarf over your neck. Then pull the end of your scarf through the side that forms the U. Continue to pull it until your scarf is sitting fairly snugly around the neck with the pulled-through end hanging loose.
Wear It in a Bow
Try a long rectangular scarf for this one. It works in a square as well, so if you don't want to go out and buy a skinnier scarf, don't worry. Just tie your scarf around your neck and into a bow that sits at the neck. Let the ends hang loose and your pretty little feminine bow is ready to go.
Wear It in Your Hair
If you don't want to wear your fashion scarf around your neck, wear it in your hair instead. You can wear it as a headband by simply twisting or folding it over, pulling it back onto your hair and tying it under your locks at the nape of your neck. If you want to look more bohemian, fold your scarf into a square, place the longest side of the scarf onto the top of the hair a couple of inches from the hairline. Then take the ends of the scarf and tie them at the nape of the neck. You can tie your pieces over the hair or under it depending on which you prefer.
