Whether you’re coifing for a high-style occasion or you just need an extra touch of bling, a tiara can round out your style perfectly. Pair a tiara with an elegant updo and the effect will win every time. Style your hair with a high bun and a tiara. The combination of chicness on the top of your head will set this style apart and give you a royal air.
1.
Spray a light coating of styling spray over your dry tresses. This style works best on day-old hair -- you’ll find your hair cooperates more easily. Work the styling spray through from roots to tips with your fingers.
2.
Brush your hair thoroughly to remove every tangle and make it smooth.
3.
Pull your hair together into a super high ponytail -- position it on top, in front of the crown of your head. Brush as you form the ponytail so your hair is smooth and neat. Fasten the ponytail tightly with the elastic hair band.
4.
Twist your ponytail into a big ol’ bun. Keep coiling and twisting your ponytail around and around until you get to the ends and then tuck them in. Secure the bun with bobby pins to hold it tight.
5.
Spritz the hairspray over your style lightly to tame any flyaways and hold the style tightly.
6.
Situate the center of the tiara just in front of the bun. Position each side of the tiara along the sides of your head. Push the combs on the tiara into your hair to hold the tiara tightly. Give your head a little shake after you get the tiara locked in place -- the tiara should be secure enough that it doesn’t budge when you move your head. If the tiara feels loose, readjust the combs a little until they hold the tiara tight.
