If you want to lay off the heat or if you just don't feel like blow drying your locks, you can still score a stylish style by air drying your hair. Blowing out your coif isn't the only way to create a voluminous, gorgeous look. Learn how to pull off full-bodied, beautiful hair by air drying instead.
No Frizz
Creating volume by air drying doesn't equate to creating frizz. Ladies who are prone to frizz can't just let their hair air dry without applying product to it to keep it in check. Start by spritzing your hair with a beach spray. If your tresses are frizz-prone, add a frizz-fighting hair polishing serum to the mix, too.
Chignon
If you don't want to sleep with damp hair, no worries. Just brush your hair back and twist it into a chignon. Wear your chignon during the day and once your hair is dry take it out. You'll have gorgeous wavy full-bodied locks in its place.
Another Idea
If you don't love the thought of walking around during the day with wet hair and would rather sleep your way to beautiful full-bodied hair, that's a cinch, too. Wash and condition your hair. Then towel dry it. Brush the hair into a ponytail at the nape of your neck. Pull the ponytail upward to the crown of your head, twisting it as you go. Pin the twist in place with bobby pins.
The Easy Part
Once your hair is pinned into place, go ahead and catch some Zs. In the morning, if your hair is still a little damp, blow dry it for a few minutes. Otherwise, go ahead and remove your bobby pins and tousle your locks. Your hair will have fantastic body and all-over sexy, beachy waves.
