It's not just a trick for makeup artists anymore; spray foundation has hit the mainstream market, and women everywhere are trying it. So why not give it a go? If your skin is a little blotchier than most or has an uneven tone, aerosol foundation is a great way to get extra coverage without overdoing it. You might be a little turned off by the idea of spraying yourself in the face; but never fear: You can apply spray foundation a couple of different ways.
1.
Squeeze a little bit of oil-free facial moisturizer onto a standard makeup sponge. The key to flawless-looking skin is hydration.
2.
Hold the makeup sponge about 6 inches away from the nozzle of spray foundation. Lightly spray the makeup sponge to coat it. Hold the sponge over the sink to avoid getting foundation all over your carpet.
3.
Blend the foundation all over your face, starting in the center and working outward, with the makeup sponge. This will give your skin sheer coverage and a healthy, even tone.
4.
If you need a little extra coverage, aerosol foundation can be sprayed directly on your face. Simply hold it about 6 inches or so away from your face and lightly mist to cover. Blend the makeup into your skin with a large, clean makeup brush for the most natural look.
