If you're a gal who's not afraid to wear a short, sassy hairstyle, the spiky pixie could be the one for you. This 'do is cut low on the sides and back with longer layers on top. Try a rocker chic, funky or ultra-glam look. Have fun and transform your pixie into a cool creation.

Deep Side Part

Give your pixie a new look with a deep side part. Spritz volumizer onto damp hair and blow dry. Let the gel be your styling friend. Part the hair and use the gel to smooth the hair over to one side. Break out that gel again and use your fingers to spike the pieces of hair in the middle of the head upward. Go for the ultra-glam with some hair bling and place sparkly pins along the front of the hair.

Side-Swept Spikes

Look edgy and feminine all at the same time with this hairstyle. Layers are cut in thicker pieces on top with shorter strands along the sides and back of the head. Break out the feminine charm and lay some pieces of hair down flat onto the forehead. Don't leave out your edgy side. Spike those itty bitty tresses in the middle of the head and sweep them to the side. Who says you can't have fun with your hair?

Shaved Sides and Back

Bring out the hidden rocker in you. In this hairstyle, the sides and back are shaved lower than in most pixie haircuts. Most of the hair is on top, so spike it to the max. Apply pomade to your fingertips and spike the hair upward in different directions for a rocker-chic effect. Slip on a motorcycle jacket and shades for full on rockability.

Razored Layers

Go for the the funky vibe with a razored pixie. Chunky layers start at the front of the head and stop at the nape of the neck. Spike the hair on top with styling gel and tousle them with your fingers. If you're a gal who likes to attract attention, this is the hairstyle for you. Jazz up this style even more with a smoky eye and black liquid eyeliner.
