Not quite short, not quite long, tea-length dresses provide a different silhouette that switches up your style. But, because most ladies don't wear them as often, they can be a little bit tough to match with your shoes. If you've got a tea-length dress, get a little inspiration on what shoes make your frock look its best.
Strappy Sandals
Strappy sandals are fab for your tea-length dress in the spring and summer but work during the fall and winter months too. Just add a pair of tights. Yes, that's right, you can wear tights with your strappy sandals, so rock the look during any season. If your dress is more formal, opt for a high stiletto, strappy sandal. If you're working with a daytime look, flat sandals look just as fab as heels.
Pumps
Pumps are a classic pairing with a tea-length dress. Try yours with a princess-cut frock if you've got a fancier event. They also look fab with a more casual tea-length dress for attending a garden party, wedding or any other slightly dressy daytime event.
Statement Shoe
Because tea-length dresses are so classic, sometimes they run the risk of looking a little bit matronly. If you want to make sure that your dress looks more youthful than your grandmother's, add a statement shoe. Try shoes in bright colors or cool prints, or ones with intricate designs and embellishments, to spice up your look and make it more fashion forward.
Peep Toes
Peep-toe shoes are a little bit classic and a little bit girly, making them perfect for complementing your tea-length frock. Keep your look basic by matching your peep-toe shoes to your dress, or try a metallic peep-toe. Colors look fab too. Spice up your peep toe by trying it in an interesting fabric like suede or velvet. Just be sure to get yourself a manicure first, because your toes will be on full display!
