If you're looking to glam up your tresses, try whipping them into a sexy half up/half down style. Wearing your hair half up is a fab way to make your look interesting but still keep that sultry, flowing hair look. Whether you're rocking a polished and sleek half up style or one with pretty waves or curls, you're sure to be a stunner in your half up hair look.

Sleek 'Do

Celebrity stylist Ted Giberson created a half-up look he calls, "Jerry Hall meets Park Avenue". Get this sexy model/posh uptown girl look yourself. Add a dollop of shine serum to your hair. Tease the crown of your head slightly. Then brush the outer layer of the hair back to smooth. Pull the top half of your hair back and secure it in place with a few bobby pins or a barrette.

Half-up Waves

Give your tresses fab body and volume with super sexy waves. Start on freshly blow-dried hair. Wrap sections of hair around a medium barrel curling iron. Make sure to keep the ends out of the iron so that they stay straight. Let your curls cool, then rake through them with your fingers to loosen slightly. Take two sections of hair, at the temples and gently pull them back, securing them in place with bobby pins. Finish off with a mist of hairspray and you're good to go.

Bohemian

Braids might not seem sexy, but add them to a head full of tousled curls and you'll be surprised how hot they become. Part your hair in the center, and curl it with a 1-inch iron. Once you've got your curls in place, section off sections of hair on either side of your part at your hairline. Braid them, pull them back, and clip them in place with bobby pins

Bouffant

Tease your tresses into a full, gorgeous, modern version of the bouffant. Stars like Gwen Stefani and Eva Longoria love this look. Start by spritzing leave in conditioner and volumizer spray to damp locks. Blow-dry hair straight. Then, curl hair at the crown of the head with a large barrel iron. Curl the sides with a medium barrel iron. Next, tease hair gently with a bristle brush to create volume. Add a spritz of hair spray. Then pull hair at the crown of the head back, and clip it into place with a few bobby pins.
