Any girl knows that the secret weapon in her beauty arsenal is mascara -- the blacker, the better! Whether you like your lashes lush and voluminous or defined and clean, mascara opens up your eyes. Drugstore brand Revlon has a bevy of choices -- but which is the best for you? It depends on what your natural lashes look like, and what you're looking for in a mascara.
Revlon Fabulash Mascara
If you have sparse lashes, pick a volumizing mascara to fake a flirty fringe. Or, if your lashes are long but skinny, you need a mascara that's going to fatten them up. Revlon Fabulash is your lash dream come true. Leslie Chittayanon reviewed Fabulash for lifestyle website All Women Stalk and rated it excellent -- the highest rating possible. This little tube has a thickening and volumizing effect, and will make even the puniest lashes seem lush and numerous. It stays put without slipping or sliding down cheeks -- even through vigorous gym workouts.
Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition Waterproof Mascara
If you like clean, defined lashes, try Lash Fantasy Total Definition Waterproof. This dual-ended tube houses a primer on one end and a defining mascara on the other. Swipe the primer on your lashes first -- this preps the lashes for mascara, helps mascara adhere better, and generally makes mascara look more fabulous. The rubber-bristled wand on the opposite end glides over lashes cleanly, depositing just enough inky mascara to define lashes and make them pop. And the formula is waterproof, so it won't budge. For ladies who don't like the effort in removing waterproof mascaras, this mascara is also available in regular formula. Chittayanon also rated this excellent on the website All Women Stalk.
Revlon 3D Mascara
Seeing is believing -- and website The Beauty Brains put Revlon 3D mascara to the test -- and has the photos to prove it. They snapped a pic of a tester after she swiped Revlon 3D onto her lashes. The proof is in the photos: 3D coated her lashes in an inky black hue and accentuated their natural curl. This mascara may be a prime pick for you if you want length, volume and curl enhancement.
Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
Sometimes the best way to determine a mascara's abilities is to see user photos of the mascara in action. Blogger Jenni of Beauty 'N The Geek snapped a photo of her bare lashes, and then placed it above a photo of her donning Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara. The difference is stunning; her lashes were blackened, defined and impossibly long. Revlon says the mascara helps lashes to grow while wearing it, as it's infused with conditioners. The company reports that 96 percent of users instantly saw longer, fuller lashes with this mascara on.
