Split ends and breakage are a fact of life, especially when hair gets processed --- chemically treated, styled, curled or flattened. You're especially likely to have split ends or hair that breaks off if your hair is dry or damaged or you go more than two months between haircuts or trims. But you don't have to go crazy to try to repair your split ends or breakage. There are natural products that are easily available and are healthy and nourishing for your hair.

Mix ¼ cup olive oil, avocado oil or almond oil with 1 tbsp. honey. Honey has natural moisturizing properties and the oils have natural fatty acids that offer a boost to hair repair.

Add two egg yolks to the mixture and mix well. Egg yolks are high in protein, which help repair broken or split ends.

Apply the treatment to your hair, starting at the tips and working your way up. The treatment will benefit your hair from scalp to tips, though, so don't forget to apply it to your scalp too.

Put on a shower cap or wrap plastic wrap around your hair and leave it on for 45 minutes.

Rinse your hair with very cold water and then wash and condition your hair.
