Don't freak out if you start to notice red, brassy streaks in your pretty blond hair! It's just caused by the iron in your home's hard water. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars getting a new dye job or visiting your hair salon to remove hard water buildup from your head. Simply head over to your kitchen cabinet and whip together an all-natural home remedy that will restore your gorgeous, golden hair color.

1.

Mix together 1/2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water if you have long hair. If you have shorter hair, cut the recipe in half. Pour the solution into an empty bottle or cup.

2.

Get in the shower and wash your hair with a "clarifying" shampoo that will remove hard water buildup. Rinse your hair off.

3.

Pour the apple cider vinegar mixture over your hair. You may choose to rinse it out with bottled water or just leave in the mixture to work its magic. It will cause your hair to smell like vinegar, but it will help prevent tangles.

4.

Repeat the vinegar rinse no more than twice a week to keep your locks looking soft and free of red streaks.
