Overview
If you are a professional makeup artist or a makeup novice using O2 airbrush makeup colors for clients or special occasion makeup looks, putting together a complete makeup kit is a high priority. You can use airbrush makeup to cover any skin imperfections and blemishes on the face. Whether you are prepping your skin for a first date, or creating high-fashion makeup look for your clients, you can create elegant, yet subtle foundation and blush colors with your O2 airbrush makeup kit.
1.
Select a compressor and air hose for salon or home use. According to the O2 Airbrush website, the C3001 model airbrush compressor has a quiet motor, and includes a pressure gauge to control airflow through your O2 airbrush. Use a 4-foot-long air hose to connect the compressor to the O2 Cosmetic airbrush and create proper airflow from the compressor unit to the airbrush.
2.
Include a top-feed airbrush in your kit to apply the O2 airbrush makeup to your skin or your client’s skin. While O2 Cosmetics offers top feed and bottom feed airbrushes, the O2 Cosmetics website recommends the top feed Iwata Revolution Airbrush BR for at-home or salon makeup applications. After connecting the air hose and compressor to your airbrush, you can pour three to six drops of liquid makeup into the top of the airbrush to spray the makeup onto the skin.
3.
Choose your liquid makeup colors. If you are creating an O2 Airbrush kit for personal use, buy one foundation color for the winter and fall seasons and another for spring and summer use. For professional makeup artists, O2 offers a Studio Pack makeup kit with six liquid makeup colors that range from a Light Golden Beige for fair skin to an Egyptian Bronze for medium to darker skin tones. Add the O2 Airbrush pink blush to your kit to create a natural glow on the cheeks.
Clean your O2 airbrush with water after each use.
If you intend to do airbrush tanning applications, add a bottom-feed O2 airbrush, a 6-foot-long air hose, a 3-ounce plastic jar, and O2 tanning mist to your airbrush makeup kit.
