A well-placed tiara can dress up any hairstyle and make you feel like a princess for a day. Whether you're dressing for your wedding or for another formal occasion, there's no need to blow a bunch of cash on a professionally styled 'do when you can easily slip that tiara into your hair on your own. So, decide on a hairstyle, grab your styling materials and get ready to be the center of attention!

1.

Back comb your hair to give it some texture for the tiara to cling to. Those sleek and smooth tresses may look sexy, but your tiara will slip right off.

2.

Style your hair however you want, leaving some hair out of the style on either side of your head. Be creative and personalize your 'do.

3.

Spray your hair with hair spray to keep it all in place and to help the tiara grip onto your hair more easily. You don't want your hair to fall flat.

4.

Slide the tiara into place, making sure the combs on the tiara grip the hair. Be creative in the placement to frame your face the best way possible.

5.

Bring the hair that you left out of the hairstyle up and over each of the sides of the tiara and bobby pin it in place, incorporating the tiara into the hairstyle. Voila! You now have a bedazzled hairdo any princess would envy.

Tips & Tricks

If you want to fully incorporate the tiara into your 'do, put the tiara in place first, then build the hairdo around it.

Don't hair spray your tresses after the tiara is in place or the hairspray will lessen the shine of the tiara.
