1.
Style your hair as desired. Once the rhinestones are in place, it will be difficult to comb or style your hair, so place them as the final step in your hairstyle.
2.
Decide where you want to place the rhinestones. They will hold best on parts of the hair that are pulled back or held in place and won't be moving or swinging around. For elegant or formal looks, place a small number of rhinestones in a scattered random pattern. For a theatrical or festive look, place rhinestones along a side or center part or in a line or defined pattern.
3.
Pick up a rhinestone with tweezers so that the flat back is facing outward.
4.
Place a drop of eyelash glue on the flat back of the rhinestone.
5.
Spread the glue evenly on the back of the rhinestone with a toothpick. Take care not to get the glue on the front of the rhinestone or on the tweezers. You don't want the rhinestone to stick to the tweezers.
6.
Wait about 15 to 30 seconds for the eyelash glue to become tacky.
7.
Place the rhinestone on the hair using the tweezers, and holding it in place for about 30 seconds until it adheres to the hair.
8.
Repeat Steps 3 to 7 to place the remaining rhinestones.
Choose a hairstyle that will highlight the rhinestones, such as an updo or swept-back style.
Don't pull the rhinestones out of your hair to remove them. Wash your hair, using shampoo to loosen the eyelash glue so that they are easy to remove. If necessary, use eyelash glue remover to loosen any rhinestones that won't release easily.
