Dark circles can instantly age a woman, and add years to her face. But you don't have to go through life looking like you're seriously missing out on sleep. Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer
The editors of "InStyle" really love Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer; they placed it on their annual Best Beauty Buys list six times since 2005. In fact, they refer to it as a "dream stick" in their 2011 listing. They applaud the "thin consistency" of this concealer, which resists creasing and flaking. Los Angeles makeup artist Robin Siegel told "InStyle" that the peach hue neutralizes the blue undertones of dark circles and an added bonus: the swivel tube is as easy to tote around as lipstick; just toss it in your bag and be covered on-the-go.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat
In 2007, Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Éclat got InStyle's vote for best undereye concealer. This radiant wand houses a creamy light-diffusing concealer that masks the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. It's got a touch of shimmer in it, so it brightens darkness and shadows casted by undereye circles. "InStyle" editors rave about its "weightless, moisturizing texture" that glides under eyes easily without tugging. It can also be used on cheekbones and brow bones as an illuminator.
NARS Concealer
In an article rating the 10 best undereye concealers, "Ladies Home Journal" gave testers samples of concealers and rated their satisfaction after use. NARS Concealer was one of the winners. This is a stick concealer, another swivel-tube product that's easy to take with you or stash in small clutches. It's perfect for evenings out, when a long night can cause your makeup to fade. Although it's a stick, it slicks on with a creamy finish and doesn't crease. Plus, it's formulated with vitamin E to soothe the undereye area. One tester raved that she made it a permanent addition to her makeup bag.
Clinique Airbrush Concealer
In the UK edition of "Marie Claire," an article on the 10 best undereye concealers featured Clinique Airbrush Concealer. "Marie Claire" editors say it's great for fighting signs of a late night and tired-looking eyes. In fact, they say it "camouflages telltale dark bags in an instant." Twist the end of the stick and creamy product is dispensed into the brush wand. The soft tip makes it easy to apply; it's as simple as using a pen.
