Mascara, lipstick, lip gloss ... most women love these sorts of beauty products. Hey, not only do they help enhance your beauty, but they're really fun to use. It's good you like to play around and try out different makeup looks and feel good about yourself. You don't feel so good though when you walk out the door and your hair flies around in the wind and gets stuck to your lashes or those lacquered lips. To keep your hair from getting stuck all over your face, it's important to style your hair the right way.

1.

Shampoo and condition your hair, and blow dry until it's completely dry. This style works best on freshly washed, conditioned and dried hair so you get the most volume.

2.

Apply a bit of smoothing serum through your locks, to get rid of any frizzies.

3.

Part your hair down the middle and take a 1-inch section of hair from the front at one side, twist it around and pull it back onto the side of your head. Secure it in place with a couple of bobby pins, sliding them in one over the other to create an "X" shape. This keeps them secure and prevents them from slipping out of place.

4.

Take a 1-inch section from the other side and do the same.

5.

Straighten over the length of your hair or add big, loose ringlets like Lauren usually does, using a 1-inch barrel curling iron. Spritz over your hair with some hair spray to set your style. It's a lovely look and keeps your hair from getting in your face.

Tips & Tricks

If you want a more basic style but still want to keep your hair from getting stuck in your makeup, use a simple bobby pin or hair slide in your hair at the side. Parting your hair on the side works well, and then you only need to use a single one.
